Birth Control
NIMCHN offers confidential birth control services and there are many different safe and effective methods available.
Only you can decide what is best for you. We will discuss the many choices available and answer your questions.
In most cases you can start the birth control you choose the same day that you come in & we'll even provide you with the birth control to leave with.

STD Testing
As part of our mission to promote the health and well being of our community, we offer confidential STD testing.
Most people don't even know they have a STD,
You owe it to yourself and your partner to find out… and the only way to know is to get tested.

​We are here to help you, not judge you, and our staff can help you make important decisions about the testing you need
Pregnancy Testing
Pregnancy testing is quick, easy and non judgmental
If the test is positive, we can refer you to local physicians, housing options, WIC, and social service agencies if need be. We offer non-directive counseling to provide you with all of your options.
If the test is negative, then we effective birth control methods that can help you get on a birth control method that will help you prevent pregnancy, if that's what you desire.
If you are struggling to become pregnant, we suggest an exam and referral to a physician for infertility services if needed.
Reproductive Exams
We provide comprehensive reproductive health exams for both males and females. These exams can include pelvic exams, pap smears (when indicated), breast exams, urinalysis’, anemia and STD screenings, as well as weight and blood pressure checks.

HIV Testing
The only way to know your HIV status is to get tested. Knowing your status gives you powerful information to keep you and your partner healthy.
CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care, and more often if you do things that might increase your risk for getting HIV.

Our trained staff will work with you to help reduce your risk of getting HIV including referrals for PrEP.
Teen Services
We are a resource for you, we’re here to help you and all visits will be confidential.
We encourage you to bring a parent or adult with you when you come for appointments and discuss birth control for teens. But if you are unable to talk about these issues with your parents, then please know that you are still welcome at NIMCHN. We provide services to everyone regardless of income.

Our services are confidential. We cannot disclose information to anyone but our patients.
Community Services
Because part of our mission is to strengthen the community we serve, our professional staff is available for presentations on reproductive health care to schools and community groups.
DIS Services
Disease Intervention Specialists (DIS) are public health professionals who work with individuals that have tested positive to certain STDs.
They help individuals get treatment as well as help their partners and contacts get testing and treatments.

DIS services are free of charge and specialists are able to come to you at your location if you are unable to come to the office.
